About The Boat

I’m going to use this site to talk about the projects and repairs I intend to do to the boat – as well as talk about, that’s right, boating.

Here’s the boat, what’s good, and what’s bad…

1995 Larson Cabrio 280

Here’s what’s new:
– The bottom of the boat! We had a company completely redo the bottom, epoxy’d & antifouled Feb 2012. It couldn’t float any better. A massive undertaking – but it was worth every penny.

– The batteries! All 4.

– The battery monitors! Two new Victron monitors to monitor your power consumption. I couldn’t spend the night on the water without knowing how much was in my house banks. SO glad I did. I sleep like a baby.

What’s old:
– The camper canvas. needs to be redone. I’ve taken this into consideration for the price.
– The vinyl seats. Original, old, worn. Vintage 1995 to the optimist.

This boat has spent its whole life on Lake Okanagan. It’s in great shape. Especially the engine. Only 590 hours. Clean as a whistle.

Nice 280 Cabrio Larson (28’11”) with the Duo-Delta Conic hull, which delivers phenomenal performance with minimal bow-rise, sleeps 4-6, 2-way stove, 2-way fridge, china head, hot/cold, remote spot, snap in cockpit carpet, granite tables, power engine lid, 4 batterys, bimini camper top…
